RØDE VXLR+ cable gender changer 3.5mm TRS mini-jack XLR Black
The RØDE VXLR+ is a 3.5mm female TRS to male XLR adapter that converts 12–48V phantom power to 3–5V plug-in power, enabling compatible RØDE on-camera and lavalier microphones to be powered from an XLR input. It includes a locking connector and a compact black housing suited for field and studio use.
The VXLR+ provides reliable voltage conversion from phantom power to plug-in power while maintaining signal integrity. Its locking XLR connector ensures a secure connection during recording, and the compact, lightweight design makes it easy to carry and integrate into existing setups without additional cables or batteries.
Insert the 3.5mm TRS plug of the microphone into the VXLR+ female mini-jack, then connect the VXLR+ XLR male into the XLR input of a mixer, recorder or camera that supplies 12–48V phantom power. The adapter will convert the phantom power to the lower voltage required by the microphone. Ensure the XLR connector is fully engaged and locked before recording.
Use the VXLR+ only with compatible plug-in powered microphones specified by the manufacturer. Verify that the host device supplies standard 12–48V phantom power and confirm microphone polarity and compatibility before use to prevent damage.
