At 0.12 m length, the cable is designed for internal PC use where space is limited and a compact power split is required. The cable's four-colour wires (black, red, white, yellow) follow common wiring for Molex-to-SATA power connections and are fitted to standard connectors for compatibility with a variety of power supplies and drives.
This ROLINE Y-power cable enables powering two SATA devices from one Molex connector, reducing the need to free additional power outputs on the PSU. Its short length minimises cable clutter inside the case and helps maintain tidy airflow paths. The use of standard Molex (4-pin) and SATA connectors ensures straightforward compatibility with many legacy and modern components without requiring adapters or modifications.
