The ROLINE 19-inch server rack Pro 42 U 800x1000 black is a freestanding 42U enclosure designed for organised and secure server and network equipment installation. The cabinet supports a maximum load of 1000 kg, has an IP20 protection rating, adjustable feet and a robust steel construction with material thickness up to 2.0 mm. The rack includes two pairs of galvanised 19" profile rails with depth adjustment and readable height units, perforated front and rear doors for improved airflow, removable modular side panels and a perforated roof prepared for fan modules.

How to use

Level the rack using the adjustable feet and, if required, bolt the base to the floor for additional stability. Install 19" equipment on the adjustable galvanised rails, setting the rails to the correct depth and aligning the U markings. Route cables through the brush inlets or the slide-on inlet with foam rubber seal to maintain organised cabling and reduce dust ingress. Use the perforated doors and roof when planning airflow and, if needed, fit a compatible fan module into the perforated roof opening.

Usage recommendations

Place heavy equipment at the bottom of the rack to lower the centre of gravity, distribute load evenly across mounting rails up to the 1000 kg limit, and ensure sufficient front-to-back airflow by leaving clearance in front of perforated doors and utilising the roof fan module if the installation generates significant heat.
