Ultraviolet (UV) Camera Filter Rollei 26236 — 67 mm thread, single pack

Rollei 26236 is an ultraviolet (UV) camera filter with a 67 mm thread, supplied as a single unit. The filter reduces UV light transmission to help minimize haziness and improve clarity in outdoor photography. Finished in black with transparent glass, it mounts to lenses with a 67 mm filter thread and is suitable for landscape, travel and general daylight shooting.

Advantages

The Rollei 26236 UV filter lowers the amount of ultraviolet radiation reaching the lens, which helps reduce atmospheric haze and the bluish cast often caused by scattered UV light in bright outdoor conditions. As a screw-in filter with a 67 mm thread it offers a straightforward mechanical attachment and remains on the lens to provide continuous protection against dust, fingerprints and light surface damage. The filter is supplied as a single pack, making it an easy add-on for lenses that use a 67 mm filter thread.

Suitable for

• Landscape photography in daylight
• Travel and outdoor shooting
• General daylight portrait and street photography

Key specifications

• Filter type: Ultraviolet (UV) camera filter
• Mount thread: 67 mm screw-in thread
• Finish: black frame with transparent glass
• Pack quantity: 1 piece
• Primary function: reduces UV transmission to minimize haze and improve image clarity in daylight

How to use

Screw the Rollei 26236 UV filter onto the front of a lens that has a 67 mm filter thread until it is snug; avoid overtightening. Leave the filter in place during daylight outdoor shooting to reduce UV-related haze and to provide an extra layer of protection for the front lens element. Clean the filter glass with a lens-safe microfiber cloth or a recommended lens cleaning solution to remove dust and fingerprints before and after use.

Usage recommendations

Use the filter primarily for outdoor and daylight work where ultraviolet scattering can affect image contrast and colour neutrality. Keep the filter mounted when transporting the lens to protect the front element; remove and store it in a protective case when shooting in low-light or night conditions where UV filtering is unnecessary.
