ROSA-PLAST Filament Rosa3D ReFill PLA Starter 1.75 mm 1 kg - Blue
ROSA-PLAST Rosa3D ReFill PLA Starter is a 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool of blue PLA filament designed for FDM desktop 3D printers. This general-purpose filament provides easy extrusion, good layer adhesion and dimensional stability for everyday printing tasks. The material is a biodegradable thermoplastic with low warping tendencies, making it suitable for prototypes, hobby models, educational projects and household parts that do not require high temperature resistance.
The filament offers consistent diameter and smooth feeding to reduce nozzle jams and ensure predictable extrusion. Its low-warp formulation helps maintain part geometry across small and medium-sized prints. Blue coloration is uniform along the spool, allowing for visually consistent results. The material prints on standard PLA settings and is compatible with most desktop FDM printers that accept 1.75 mm filament.
Load the 1.75 mm filament onto the printer spool holder and feed it through the extruder according to your printer manufacturer's instructions. Use standard PLA temperature settings for nozzle and bed; typical nozzle temperatures range from 190–220 °C and a heated bed is optional but can be set between 20–60 °C for better first-layer adhesion. Calibrate extrusion multiplier and print speed for best dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Store the spool in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to prevent moisture uptake that may affect print quality.
For reliable results, print at moderate speeds (40–60 mm/s) and use retraction settings appropriate to your hotend to reduce stringing. If finer detail is required, lower layer height and reduce print speed. Dry the filament before printing if it shows signs of bubbling or poor extrusion; a filament dryer or low-temperature oven for a few hours can restore performance.
