Filament refill ROSA-PLAST PETG Standard 1.75 mm 1 kg Blue Sky Transparent
ROSA-PLAST PETG Standard filament refill in 1.75 mm diameter and 1 kg spool weight, Blue Sky Transparent, is formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printers that accept 1.75 mm filament. PETG combines higher impact resistance than PLA with easier printability than ABS, providing reliable layer adhesion and improved chemical and moisture resistance. The translucent blue sky color allows light transmission for decorative or functional parts while keeping mechanical performance suitable for prototypes and end-use components.
The filament offers consistent diameter tolerance and smooth feed on most direct-drive and Bowden extruders, reducing the risk of jams and print defects. PETG Standard provides a good balance between strength, flexibility and printability, with reduced warping compared to ABS and better durability than PLA. Its translucent Blue Sky finish enables visually appealing semi-transparent prints that diffuse light while retaining structural integrity.
Load the filament onto a compatible 1.75 mm spool holder and feed it through the printer’s filament path according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions. Typical print temperatures for PETG range higher than PLA; consult your printer settings and start with standard PETG temperature ranges, adjust retraction and print speed to minimize stringing, and ensure a heated bed is used to improve first-layer adhesion. Store the spool in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant when not in use to maintain filament quality.
For best results, print PETG with a heated bed (typically 70–85°C), nozzle temperatures commonly in the range of 230–250°C depending on printer and part geometry, moderate print speeds and reduced retraction settings compared with PLA. When producing translucent or light-transmitting parts, use thicker walls and fewer internal infill patterns to enhance visual clarity and structural performance.
