ROSA-PLAST Rosa3D Refill PLA Magic Silk 1.75mm 1kg — Gold-Silver is a 1.75 mm PLA filament formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printers. The filament delivers a silk-like metallic sheen in a Gold-Silver colorway suitable for decorative prints, display models and visual prototypes. Supplied on a refill spool compatible with printers that accept 1.75 mm filament, the material is intended for standard PLA temperature ranges and typical desktop 3D printing workflows.
The Magic Silk PLA combines the ease of printing associated with standard PLA and a pronounced silk/metallic finish that enhances surface appearance without additional post-processing. Its consistent diameter and uniform extrusion behavior help reduce common print defects such as under-extrusion and stringing when printing at appropriate settings. The 1 kg spool format provides a balance between material availability and storage simplicity for small to medium print jobs.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into the extruder according to your printer manufacturer’s instructions and set nozzle and bed temperatures within the standard PLA range for your setup. Start with commonly recommended PLA settings in your slicer, then fine-tune extrusion multiplier, print speed and retraction to achieve optimal surface finish and dimensional accuracy. Use a heated bed if available and appropriate adhesion aids such as blue tape, glue stick or PEI sheet depending on your build surface. Allow printed parts to cool gradually to preserve surface sheen.
For best visual results, print at moderate speeds with layer heights that balance detail and sheen (for example 0.1–0.2 mm). Adjust retraction and temperature to minimize stringing and maintain a glossy metallic appearance; avoid excessive post-processing that may dull the silk finish.
