ROSA-PLAST PETG CF 3D printing filament is a 1.75 mm composite PETG material reinforced with carbon fiber, supplied on a 1000 g spool in blue. Developed for FFF/FDM 3D printers, this filament combines the chemical resistance and printability of PETG with added stiffness and dimensional stability from carbon fiber reinforcement. It is intended for functional parts, housings and prototypes that require increased strength and thermal performance compared with standard PETG materials.
The carbon-fiber-reinforced PETG offers higher flexural strength and improved rigidity while maintaining PETG's layer adhesion and ease of printing. Its enhanced dimensional stability reduces warping and deformation in larger or load-bearing prints. The filament is supplied on a 1000 g spool in a consistent 1.75 mm diameter, enabling reliable extrusion and repeatable results on compatible FFF/FDM machines. The blue color provides a uniform finish suitable for both functional and visual prototypes.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into an FFF/FDM 3D printer configured for composite PETG materials. Use nozzle temperatures and print speeds appropriate for PETG composites; start with manufacturer-recommended settings for PETG and adjust for carbon fiber content, often requiring slightly higher extrusion temperatures and moderate print speeds to ensure consistent flow. A hardened steel or ruby nozzle is recommended to reduce abrasive wear from carbon fibers. Ensure good bed adhesion—use a heated bed and appropriate adhesion aids—and allow parts to cool gradually to minimize internal stresses.
For best results, use a hardened nozzle, set a heated bed temperature typical for PETG, and tune retraction and cooling to balance surface finish with layer bonding. Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to avoid moisture uptake that can affect print quality.
