3D printer filament ROSA3D Filament Refill PLA Starter Gray 1.75 mm 1 kg
ROSA3D Filament Refill PLA Starter Gray 1.75 mm 1 kg is a standard polylactic acid (PLA) filament designed for fused filament fabrication (FFF) desktop 3D printers. The gray 1.75 mm filament is supplied on a 1 kg spool and formulated to provide consistent extrusion, reliable layer adhesion and minimal warping during typical printing conditions. It is suitable for general-purpose printing including prototypes, visual models, household items and classroom projects where ease of use and dimensional stability are priorities.
The filament offers easy printability, good interlayer bonding and low tendency to warp, making setup and print tuning straightforward for both beginners and experienced users. Its 1.75 mm diameter is compatible with a wide range of consumer and prosumer FFF printers. The gray color delivers neutral, high-contrast surfaces suitable for post-processing such as sanding, painting or gluing.
Load the spool onto the printer’s filament holder, ensure the filament feeds smoothly and set the filament diameter to 1.75 mm in your slicer. Use standard PLA print settings: moderate nozzle temperature, cooled printing with a part cooling fan and a heated bed if available to improve adhesion. Calibrate extrusion multiplier and first-layer height for accurate dimensional results. For best adhesion, print directly on a prepared build surface such as taped glass, PEI sheet or blue painter’s tape, and use a brim or raft if needed for larger flat parts.
Store the filament in a dry environment, preferably sealed with desiccant, to reduce moisture absorption that can affect print quality. When changing materials or colors, purge the hot end and verify extrusion consistency before starting critical prints.
