3D printer filament ROSA3D ABS+ 1.75 mm Black 1 kg spool
ROSA3D ABS+ 1.75 mm Black is a 1 kg spool of ABS-based filament formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printers. The ABS+ material delivers improved toughness and dimensional stability compared with standard ABS, making it suitable for printing functional parts, prototypes and end-use components that require higher impact resistance and heat tolerance. The filament has a nominal diameter of 1.75 mm and is supplied wound on a standard spool for easy feeding; optimal results are achieved when used with an enclosed printer, a heated build plate and tuned extrusion settings to reduce warping and ensure good layer adhesion.
The ROSA3D ABS+ filament combines higher mechanical strength and improved dimensional consistency, reducing the risk of part deformation during printing and post-processing. It provides reliable layer bonding and better impact resistance than ordinary ABS, while maintaining surface finish suitable for sanding, drilling and painting. Black coloration is uniformly distributed for consistent appearance across prints.
Load the filament onto the spool holder of your 1.75 mm-capable FDM/FFF printer and feed it through the extruder according to the printer manufacturer's instructions. Set the nozzle temperature and heated bed temperature according to your printer and slicer recommendations for ABS-type materials; typical starting points are a nozzle temperature in the mid-200s °C and a bed temperature above 90 °C, but adjust based on print results. Use a brim or raft to improve first-layer adhesion and enable an enclosed build area or draft protection to minimise warping. After printing, allow parts to cool gradually on the bed before removal to maintain dimensional accuracy.
Store the filament in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and moisture; consider using a sealed container with desiccant to preserve printability. For improved adhesion and reduced warping, use a heated bed with appropriate adhesion aids (e.g., ABS slurry, PEI sheet, or specialized adhesives) and enable part cooling sparingly or not at all for the first several layers. Always follow safety guidelines for ventilation when printing ABS-based materials.
