3D printer filament ROSA3D PET-G Structure HS 1.75mm Light Gray 1kg
3D printer filament ROSA3D PET-G Structure HS 1.75mm Light Gray 1kg
ROSA3D PET-G Structure HS filament in 1.75 mm diameter on a 1 kg spool, light gray, is formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printers to deliver a balance of strength, chemical resistance and dimensional stability. Compared with ABS, PET-G typically shows reduced warping and easier layer adhesion, making it suitable for parts that require durability and accurate tolerances. The Structure HS grade emphasizes consistent extrusion and a surface texture appropriate for functional prototypes and end-use mechanical components.
ROSA3D PET-G Structure HS provides good tensile strength and impact resistance combined with improved chemical and moisture resistance relative to some common filaments. The material offers lower shrinkage and warping during printing, reliable bed and interlayer adhesion, and consistent diameter tolerance for steady extrusion. Its light gray color gives neutral aesthetics for testing or visible parts while minimizing post-processing requirements.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into a compatible FDM/FFF 3D printer following the printer manufacturer's filament loading procedure. Use a heated build platform and adjust printing temperature, bed temperature and print speed according to the printer and nozzle size; begin within common PET-G ranges and fine-tune for optimal layer adhesion and surface finish. Ensure the spool can rotate freely and that the filament path is free of snags. Allow printed parts to cool naturally on the bed before removal to avoid distortion.
Start with standard PET-G settings: nozzle temperatures commonly between 230–250 °C and bed temperatures around 60–80 °C, adjust retraction and cooling to reduce stringing while maintaining layer adhesion. Use a flat, clean build surface and moderate first-layer height to improve adhesion. Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to preserve print quality.
