Filament Refill PLA 1.75 mm 1 kg — ROSA3D Tanned Skin
ROSA3D Tanned Skin PLA filament refill is a 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool of polylactic acid (PLA) designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. This bioplastic material offers stable extrusion and predictable layer adhesion for general-purpose printing of prototypes, decorative items and household parts. The Tanned Skin color provides a neutral, skin-like tone useful for models, figures and mock-ups that require a warm beige finish without special post-processing.
PLA filament from ROSA3D delivers consistent diameter and low warping tendencies, resulting in reliable print quality across common desktop 3D printers. The 1.75 mm filament diameter is widely supported and the 1 kg spool size balances print volume with storage convenience. Being a PLA bioplastic, the material prints at relatively low temperatures and is easier to handle than many engineering filaments.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into a compatible FDM/FFF printer according to the printer manufacturer's instructions. Recommended printing temperatures for PLA typically range from 190°C to 220°C; adjust within this window based on your hotend and part requirements. Use a standard print speed and layer height appropriate for the nozzle size and model detail; enable cooling fans for improved bridging and fine details. Store the spool in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to maintain filament quality.
For optimal surface finish on figures and mock-ups, print at moderate speeds with a smaller layer height (0.1–0.2 mm) and enable part cooling. When color matching is important, print a small test piece before committing to large prints and ensure consistent filament tension and extrusion settings.
