ROSA3D PLA-CF Matt Home Decor 1.75 mm 1 kg — Blue Jeans is a carbon-fiber–filled PLA filament designed for home decor and general-purpose 3D printing. With a 1.75 mm diameter and 1 kg spool weight, this filament provides a matt Blue Jeans surface finish and increased stiffness compared with standard PLA. The carbon-fiber additive improves surface texture, giving prints a subtle textured matte appearance while maintaining the ease of printing associated with PLA materials.
The filament combines the printability of PLA with carbon-fiber reinforcement to deliver higher rigidity and a refined matte surface suitable for visible decorative parts. Its 1.75 mm diameter ensures compatibility with most hobby and prosumer FDM printers, while the 1 kg spool offers a practical filament quantity for multiple small to medium prints. The Blue Jeans colour is formulated to produce uniform colouration and consistent layer adhesion, reducing visible printing defects on exterior surfaces.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into an FDM 3D printer compatible with carbon-fiber–filled materials. Use a hardened steel or other wear-resistant nozzle to reduce abrasion from carbon fibers. Start with typical PLA print temperatures and adjust based on printer behaviour and layer bonding; refer to your printer's settings for initial temperature guidance. Ensure proper bed adhesion with a heated bed or adhesive surface appropriate for PLA. Print cooling may be used as with standard PLA to preserve detail and surface finish.
To extend nozzle life, use a hardened or coated nozzle and avoid fine-diameter brass nozzles. Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to prevent moisture uptake. For best matte appearance and dimensional stability, calibrate extrusion multiplier and printing temperature, and allow printed parts to cool fully before post-processing or painting.
