ROSA3D PLA white filament (model ROSA3D-2988) is a general-purpose thermoplastic extrusion material intended for FDM/FFF 3D printers. This white PLA filament provides the standard characteristics associated with polylactic acid: good dimensional stability, relatively low warping, and straightforward printability at common PLA temperatures. It is suitable for producing prototypes, visual models and everyday household parts when used with appropriate nozzle sizes, print temperatures and cooling settings.
ROSA3D PLA white delivers predictable layer adhesion and consistent extrusion when printed within recommended settings. Its low tendency to warp and minimal odor during printing make it practical for workshop and home environments. The material's natural stiffness and surface finish are appropriate for parts that require a smooth appearance and simple post-processing such as sanding or painting.
Load the ROSA3D PLA white filament into a compatible FDM/FFF 3D printer with the matching filament diameter. Set the nozzle temperature within the recommended PLA range for your printer and nozzle; begin with a mid-range temperature and adjust if under-extrusion or stringing occurs. Use moderate print speeds and ensure adequate part cooling to improve surface finish and overhang performance. If available, use a brim or raft for small parts to improve first-layer adhesion.
Store the filament in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture. When printing, calibrate extrusion multiplier and retraction settings for optimal surface quality. For painted or finished parts, lightly sand and use appropriate primers compatible with PLA.
