3D Pen Filament ROSA3D TPU 96A Green Glow-in-the-Dark 0.5 kg ROSA3D
ROSA3D TPU 96A Green Glow-in-the-Dark filament is a flexible thermoplastic polyurethane material formulated for use with hand-held 3D pens and small extrusion devices. Supplied as 0.5 kg of luminous green filament, this elastomeric material combines high elasticity and impact resistance with a photoluminescent additive that absorbs light and emits a green glow in low-light conditions. It is intended for applications that require bendable, resilient prints and a visible glow effect after exposure to light.
This TPU 96A filament offers superior flexibility and tear resistance compared with harder thermoplastics, allowing for stretchable and wearable parts. The material’s Shore hardness around 96A provides a balance between softness and dimensional stability, while its impact resistance reduces the likelihood of cracking under stress. The glow-in-the-dark property improves visibility of finished pieces in low light without compromising the filament’s mechanical behavior. Filament is supplied in a convenient 0.5 kg format suitable for repeated 3D pen sessions.
Load the filament into a compatible 3D pen according to the pen manufacturer’s instructions and set the pen temperature appropriate for TPU materials if the pen supports temperature control. Work in smooth, continuous strokes to allow the flexible filament to deposit evenly; avoid abrupt pulls that can stretch thin strands. For best glow performance, expose printed parts to a strong light source for several minutes before use in darkness. Allow printed layers to cool and stabilise between passes when building thicker sections to maintain shape and adhesion.
Use a 3D pen designed to handle flexible filaments or a small extrusion device with a low-friction feed path. Keep the filament spool free to rotate and avoid tight bends near the feed entry. Store the filament in a dry, dark place to preserve the photoluminescent additive and prevent moisture uptake, which can affect print quality. Test on small samples to determine optimal feed speed and layer technique for your specific pen.
