Filament PLA ROSA3D TF-24014 Purple 1.75 mm 1 kg
ROSA3D TF-24014 Purple is a 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm Polylactic Acid (PLA) filament designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. The Plasma Purple colour provides consistent pigmentation for decorative parts and prototypes. This PLA formulation prioritises easy extrusion, low warping and reliable layer adhesion, making it suitable for standard desktop 3D printing workflows where typical PLA mechanical and thermal properties are sufficient.
This filament offers good dimensional stability and low shrinkage during cooling, reducing print failures caused by warping. The 1.75 mm diameter ensures compatibility with a wide range of consumer and prosumer extruders, while the 1 kg spool size supports multiple medium-sized projects without frequent spool changes. The Plasma Purple pigment yields even colour distribution and predictable surface finish when printing at recommended settings.
Load the ROSA3D TF-24014 filament into a compatible 1.75 mm extruder following your printer manufacturer's instructions. Recommended print temperatures for PLA typically range from 190°C to 220°C; start in the mid-range and adjust according to extrusion quality and layer adhesion. Use a build surface appropriate for PLA—such as blue tape, PEI sheet or a lightly glued glass bed—and set bed temperature between 0–60°C depending on adhesion needs. Allow adequate cooling with part fans for better bridging and overhang performance.
Store the filament in a dry, cool place and keep it in sealed packaging or a filament box with desiccant to minimise moisture uptake. If prints show bubbling or poor layer bonding, dry the spool at low temperature in a filament dryer or oven designed for filament drying. For best results, calibrate extrusion multiplier and retraction for your specific printer and nozzle size before printing final parts.
