Wood and Exterior Paint SADOLIN Classic Hybrid 7 Years Transparent 4.5 L
Wood and Exterior Paint SADOLIN Classic Hybrid 7 Years Transparent 4.5 L
SADOLIN Classic Hybrid 7 Years Transparent in a 4.5 L container is a transparent exterior wood coating designed for timber surfaces and exterior joinery. The formulation aims to combine long-lasting weather resistance with the preservation of visible wood grain and natural appearance. The product is intended for horizontal and vertical exterior timber, including cladding, fences, doors and window frames, providing protection against moisture, UV radiation and dirt while maintaining a transparent finish.
The hybrid composition delivers a balance of durability and flexibility to adapt to wood movement, reducing the risk of cracking or flaking. The transparent finish preserves the natural texture and grain of wood while offering up to seven years of protection under typical exterior exposure. The paint provides water-repellent properties and improved resistance to UV-induced fading, helping to reduce maintenance frequency. The formulation is suitable for use on a variety of timber types and joinery elements without obscuring the wood’s appearance.
Prepare the timber surface by cleaning, removing loose paint, dirt, mill glaze and any surface contaminants, and allow the wood to dry thoroughly. Sand glossy or rough areas to promote adhesion and remove sanding dust before application. Stir the paint well before use and apply with a suitable brush, roller or spray equipment in thin, even coats. Follow recommended drying times between coats; on porous wood, an additional coat may be necessary for optimal protection. Allow final curing before subjecting the surface to heavy weather exposure.
Apply in suitable weather conditions, avoiding direct rain or temperatures close to freezing during application and drying. Test the finish on a small inconspicuous area to verify appearance on the specific wood species. For best long-term performance, maintain surfaces periodically and retreat areas showing wear or reduced protection.
