Wood Impregnating Stain SADOLIN Classic Hybrid 7 Years Mahogany 2.5 L
Wood Impregnating Stain SADOLIN Classic Hybrid 7 Years Mahogany 2.5 L
SADOLIN Classic Hybrid 7 Years Mahogany is a wood-impregnating stain formulated for exterior timber. Supplied in a 2.5 L can, this product combines pigment and preservative components to deliver long-lasting color and basic protection against weathering. The mahogany shade enhances natural wood grain while providing an even, translucent finish suitable for fences, cladding, garden furniture and other outdoor wooden surfaces where durable color and light protection are required.
The formulation offers up to seven years of color retention under typical exterior exposure and penetrates wood to reduce the effects of moisture and UV-driven fading. It leaves a semi-transparent finish that highlights wood texture while forming a protective layer against rain and surface deterioration. The product is ready to apply and suitable for common outdoor timber species, enabling uniform coverage and consistent color across treated surfaces.
Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry and free of dust, mold or loose old coatings before application. Stir the can thoroughly and apply evenly following the wood grain using a brush, roller or low-pressure sprayer. For new or highly absorbent timber, apply a primer coat or a first coat diluted according to the technical instructions, then apply subsequent coats as recommended to achieve the required tone and protection. Allow adequate drying time between coats and avoid applying at temperatures below those specified by the manufacturer or during rain.
For best results, perform a small test on an inconspicuous area to confirm color and absorption. Recoat intervals depend on exposure; inspect treated wood periodically and refresh the finish when signs of wear, loss of color intensity, or reduced repellency appear.
