The Sage Vac Q vacuum pump accessory draws air out of the blender jug before mixing to deliver a smoother texture, brighter colours and enhanced flavours. How to use

Attach the Vac Q to the blender lid's inner cap valve and ensure it is securely fitted. Place ingredients in the jug, close the lid and activate the pump; the unit will draw air from the jug and then switch off automatically once the desired vacuum is reached. After vacuuming, proceed to blend as usual according to your recipe.

Usage recommendations

Use the vacuum function for vegetable-based and water-based recipes to reduce oxidation and improve texture and colour. Avoid using the Vac Q when a light, aerated texture is desired, such as for traditional milkshakes that rely on incorporated air.
