The integrated high-carbon hardened steel burr grinder (Baratza European Precision Burrs) offers 45 grind settings. The machine uses the 4 keys formula—correct dose, precise temperature control, optimal water pressure and true microfoam—to reproduce third-wave specialty coffee at home. A responsive touch screen provides café presets including Cold Brew and Cold Espresso, while the ThermoJet® heating system delivers fast heat-up and improved energy efficiency.
Fully automatic workflow combines grinding, dosing and tamping for consistent extraction and reduced manual steps. Barista Guidance detects under- or over-extracted shots and recommends grind adjustments for a more balanced pour. Auto MilQ™ creates hands-free silky microfoam with settings optimised for dairy, soy, almond and oat, offering adjustable temperatures from 40°C to 75°C and eight texture levels. Auto Queue lets you schedule steaming or extraction to start automatically after the previous step. ThermoJet® and a heated group head provide rapid heat-up and precise temperature control, adjustable in +/-1°C increments.
Fill the water tank and add fresh coffee beans to the built-in hopper. Use the touchscreen to select a café preset or customise grind setting and dose. The machine will automatically grind, dose and tamp into the 58 mm portafilter and proceed with extraction. If using milk, choose Auto MilQ™ and select the milk type, temperature and texture level; Auto Queue can be set so steaming begins automatically after extraction. Adjust the group head temperature in +/-1°C steps if you need to fine-tune extraction for taste.
Use fresh whole coffee beans and adjust grind size according to Barista Guidance for optimal extraction. Rinse the group head and purge steam wand after milk use; perform regular descaling and maintenance as described in the manufacturer instructions.
