Samura MadBull Serbian Hatchet Chopper 3×110×180 mm, Aus-8 steel 60 HRC, Black & Red G10 handle
Samura MadBull Serbian Hatchet Chopper 3×110×180 mm is a compact heavy-duty kitchen cleaver built for demanding chopping tasks. The blade is crafted from AUS-8 stainless steel heat-treated to 60 HRC and ground to a lenticular profile with a 180 mm cutting edge, offering a balance of edge retention and toughness. The 3 mm thick, 110 mm wide blade and overall length of 300 mm give this hatchet the momentum and control needed to cut through bones, large joints, dense meat and hard vegetables. The handle is made of layered black and red G10 for reliable grip, impact resistance and long-term durability.
The AUS-8 steel hardened to 60 HRC provides a combination of hardness and corrosion resistance suitable for kitchen heavy use while remaining serviceable for home sharpening. The lenticular blade geometry and 3 mm thickness deliver deep cutting power without excessive weight. A compact 300 mm overall length and broad 110 mm face allow precise, controlled chopping and can also be used for portioning and flattening. The black & red G10 handle ensures a stable, non-slip grip when working with wet or greasy ingredients and resists deformation and wear over time.
Use the hatchet for controlled chopping motions, allowing the blade mass and sharp edge to do the work rather than forcing the cut. Position the item on a stable, sturdy cutting board and use a single, decisive stroke for bone and large-joint work; for portioning or trimming, use shorter controlled chops. Maintain a firm two-handed or one-handed grip as appropriate for task and comfort. Do not use the hatchet on frozen items or on very hard surfaces such as ceramic or stone which may damage the edge.
Hand-wash immediately after use with warm water and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly with a towel. Although the blade is stainless AUS-8, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture; do not use a dishwasher. Store the hatchet in a dry place and protect the edge with a sheath or blade guard. For best edge performance, sharpen on water stones following the lenticular profile and strop or hone regularly.
