With a bright F1.8 maximum aperture, a 35mm focal length and an optical design that includes an aspherical element and Ultra Multi-Coating, the lens delivers high-resolution images across the frame while weighing only 210 g and measuring 65 × 63.5 mm. It supports close focusing to 0.29 m and accepts 58 mm filters.
