Floppy Drive Sandberg USB Floppy Drive
The Sandberg USB Floppy Drive provides a simple way to read and write 3.5" floppy disks using a standard USB port. It connects via USB 2.0 and operates at 360 RPM, enabling access to legacy data without requiring internal installation or additional software. Its compact dimensions make it easy to store and move between systems.
This external USB floppy drive offers plug-and-play convenience through a USB 2.0 interface and supports both reading and writing of 3.5" diskettes at 360 RPM. The unit is compact and lightweight, making it suitable for occasional data retrieval and archival tasks. No internal fitting or special drivers are required for typical desktop or laptop systems.
Connect the Sandberg USB Floppy Drive to an available USB port on your computer. Insert a 3.5" floppy disk into the drive; the system should detect the device automatically and assign it a removable drive letter. Use your operating system’s file manager to open, copy or save files on the disk as you would with any external drive. When finished, eject the disk via the operating system before unplugging the device.
Handle floppy disks carefully to avoid damage; store disks flat in a dry, dust-free environment. Use the drive for occasional access and data transfer rather than long-term continuous operation. Regularly back up recovered data to modern storage media.
