Gas Detector Satel DG-1 TCM White Wall Mount 105 mA
DG-1 TCM is a microprocessor-based detector for narcotic gases such as trichloromethane vapors. The device is intended for wall mounting in homes, offices and security posts where there is a risk of criminals using narcotic gas to incapacitate occupants. Because narcotic gases are heavier than air, install the detector low on the wall, just above the floor of the monitored room. Digital detection algorithms and temperature compensation provide reliable operation across a wide ambient temperature range and reduce false alarms. The detector signals when a preset concentration of narcotic gas is exceeded and can function as a standalone alarm using its built-in buzzer and blue LED or be integrated into a broader alarm system. Continuous self-diagnostics monitor supply voltage and sensor performance to ensure dependable operation.
The DG-1 TCM offers microprocessor-based gas analysis and temperature compensation for stable detection in variable conditions. Its low mounting position suits detection of gases heavier than air. The unit supports standalone alarming with an integrated buzzer and indicator LED while also being compatible with external alarm systems. Continuous self-diagnostics check power supply and sensor status to help maintain reliable readiness.
Mount the DG-1 TCM on the wall at a low height, just above the floor, in the room being monitored. Connect the detector to the system power and, if required, integrate its alarm output with the existing alarm system. After power-up the detector will perform self-diagnostics; verify the supply and sensor status before normal operation. If the device detects a narcotic gas concentration above the preset threshold it will trigger the internal buzzer and blue LED and, when connected, send an alarm to the control panel.
Install the detector low on the wall for effective detection of gases heavier than air, test the device after installation and periodically check self-diagnostic indicators and power supply to ensure correct operation.
