Fixed temperature heat detector Satel DMP-100 Wired 65 °C
Fixed temperature heat detector Satel DMP-100 Wired 65 °C
The Satel DMP-100 Wired Fixed Temperature Heat Detector activates at a fixed threshold of 65 °C and is designed for integration into wired fire detection systems. The detector accepts AC/DC supply with a 26 V input and signals alarms with a typical alarm current of 23 mA. Compact in size (108 mm wide, 49 mm high) and weighing 94 g, the device combines multiple sensing principles to improve fire event recognition.
The DMP-100 unifies fixed temperature sensing with additional detection methods, increasing the likelihood of early recognition of different fire scenarios. Its wired connection ensures stable power and reliable signalling in monitored installations. Small dimensions and light weight make it easy to mount in a variety of indoor locations. The detector’s combined sensing approach reduces false negatives by responding to heat rise as well as sustained elevated temperature.
Install the detector on a suitable mounting base following the wiring diagram of the fire alarm control panel and local installation standards. Connect the detector to the system’s 26 V AC/DC supply, ensuring correct polarity and secure terminals. Position the unit to allow unobstructed exposure to ambient air where heat or rapid temperature changes are expected. Test the detector after installation and during routine maintenance cycles to confirm proper alarm signalling and electrical connection.
Place detectors according to applicable fire safety standards and the manufacturer’s mounting guidelines, keeping them clear of direct airflow from vents and away from sources of false alarms such as cooking appliances. Perform periodic functional tests and cleaning to remove dust or debris and verify the wiring and power supply remain within specified parameters.
