SAVIO SATA III cable GAK-06 — 0.5 m straight, black, gold latches
SAVIO GAK-06 is a SATA III internal data cable designed for connecting 2.5" and 3.5" storage devices and optical drives to desktop motherboards. The cable is 0.5 m long with straight SATA III connectors and gold-plated latches that ensure a secure electrical contact. A black braided sheath provides additional mechanical protection and improves cable routing inside PC cases. The construction uses high-quality copper conductors to support reliable data transmission at SATA III speeds.
The SAVIO SATA III cable supports data transfer rates up to 6 Gbps and uses gold-plated steel latches to reduce contact resistance and resist corrosion. Its black nylon braid increases abrasion resistance and helps maintain tidy cable management in compact builds. The straight connectors make it compatible with standard SATA ports on motherboards and drives without angle constraints.
Align the straight SATA connector with the keyed port on the drive or motherboard and press gently until the latch clicks into place. Route the cable inside the case to avoid obstructing fans and other components, using cable ties or the braided sheath to maintain tidy runs. For removal, press the latch release and pull the connector straight out to avoid bending the cable or stressing the port.
For optimal performance, use this cable for internal SATA III connections up to 0.5 m; avoid tight bends near the connector and ensure both device and motherboard SATA ports are free of dust or debris before connection. When building compact systems, plan cable routing to minimize interference with airflow.
