Scheppach cordless drill/driver BC-DD60-X 20V body only
The Scheppach cordless drill/driver BC-DD60-X 20V (body only) is a compact, battery-powered tool housing intended for drilling and screwdriving tasks in wood, metal and plastics. Supplied without a battery or charger, this 20V body offers cordless flexibility for DIYers and light professional applications where portability and straightforward operation are required. The unit includes the drill housing, integrated controls and the chuck; batteries and charger are sold separately.
The BC-DD60-X body provides the convenience of cordless operation while allowing users to choose compatible batteries and chargers to match their workflow. Its compact design supports work in confined spaces and reduces operator fatigue during extended use. The integrated chuck and variable-speed control enable precise screwdriving and drilling across common materials. As a body-only product, it is suitable for customers who already own compatible batteries or who prefer to configure a battery system to their needs.
Before use, fit a compatible 20V battery into the tool according to the battery manufacturer's instructions and ensure the battery is charged. Select the appropriate drill or screwdriver bit and insert it into the keyless chuck, tightening by hand until secure. Set the forward/reverse selector and use the variable-speed trigger to control drilling or screwdriving speed. Apply steady pressure and allow the tool to reach the necessary speed before engaging the workpiece. For repetitive fastening, adjust torque or use short trigger presses to avoid overdriving screws.
Use Scheppach-recommended or compatible 20V batteries with suitable capacity for the intended tasks, and always pair the body with a charger that matches the battery specifications. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and hearing protection when necessary. Inspect bits and the chuck before each use and replace worn or damaged accessories to maintain safe, efficient operation.
