Cordless Hammer Drill Scheppach C-CD45-X 20 V
The Cordless Hammer Drill Scheppach C-CD45-X 20 V is a portable power tool designed for drilling tasks that require both rotary and impact action. Powered by a 20 V battery, this drill combines a compact form factor with a hammer function suitable for working in wood, metal and masonry. The tool is intended for construction, renovation and DIY projects where cordless mobility and the option to switch to impact mode are needed.
The Scheppach C-CD45-X 20 V offers the convenience of cordless operation and integrated hammer action in a single handheld unit. Its battery-powered design removes the need for mains connection at the worksite, while the hammer function increases efficiency when drilling into concrete or brick. The tool’s compact size and balanced weight distribution support easier handling during extended tasks, and variable speed control allows adaptation to different materials and drill bit sizes.
This cordless hammer drill is not intended for heavy-duty industrial drilling where very high continuous torque or large-diameter drilling in reinforced concrete is required. Battery runtime and sustained power depend on the battery capacity and work intensity, so for prolonged high-load jobs a corded high-power rotary hammer or a larger SDS drill may be more appropriate.
Select an appropriate drill bit for the target material and secure it in the keyless chuck. Choose the drilling mode—rotary for wood and metal or hammer/impact for masonry—and set the speed according to the material and bit size. Hold the drill with a firm two-handed grip where possible, apply steady axial pressure and start drilling at low speed to center the bit, then increase speed as needed. For intermittent heavy drilling, allow the battery and tool to cool periodically and ensure the battery is charged before extended use.
For best results, use sharp, correctly sized drill bits and select the impact mode only when working in masonry. Keep the gearbox vents free of dust, charge batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions and use eye and hearing protection when operating the drill.
