Secomp STANDARD HDMI to VGA and Audio Adapter Cable Male to Female Stereo

The Secomp STANDARD HDMI to VGA and Audio Adapter Cable Male to Female Stereo is a reliable multimedia solution designed for connecting modern digital source devices equipped with an HDMI output to traditional analog displays, projectors, and monitors that utilize a VGA input. Featuring an integrated audio stereo port, this adapter cable ensures that both video and sound are transmitted effectively to your display system, making it an essential tool for updating legacy hardware without losing audio capabilities.

Advantages

This adapter cable provides a seamless bridge between modern and legacy equipment, eliminating the need to replace older monitors or projectors. The inclusion of a dedicated audio stereo port allows for simultaneous transmission of sound, ensuring complete multimedia functionality. Its compact design and built-in cable format ensure a tidy workspace, while reliable signal conversion maintains steady visual and audio output for everyday professional and personal tasks.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops with HDMI to older office VGA monitors
• Setting up desktop computers with HDMI outputs to legacy projectors
• Integrating modern media players with traditional display screens equipped with stereo audio inputs

When it may not be suitable

This adapter cable is not suitable for connecting VGA source devices to HDMI displays, as signal conversion is strictly unidirectional from HDMI to VGA. Additionally, it cannot be used with devices that lack an independent audio output when sound transmission is required, as the audio port relies on the HDMI source signal.

Key specifications

• HDMI male connector for source devices
• VGA female connector for display outputs
• Integrated stereo audio port
• Cable length of 0.23 meters

How to use

Connect the HDMI male end of the adapter cable directly to the HDMI output port of your computer, laptop, or media player. Attach your VGA monitor cable to the VGA female port of the adapter. If audio support is needed, connect an external speaker system or audio cable from the integrated stereo port on the adapter to your speakers or sound system. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on your devices.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your source device features an HDMI output and your display uses a VGA input
• Confirm whether you require audio output, as this model includes a stereo port for sound connection
• Check that a standard VGA cable is available to connect the adapter to your monitor

For optimal performance and longevity, avoid tightly bending the cable near the connectors and store the adapter in a dry environment when not in use.
