Portable air conditioner SENCOR SAC MT1241C — 12000 BTU/h, R290, EER 2.6, 1.4 kWh/h, Black
The SENCOR SAC MT1241C is a portable air conditioner offering up to 12,000 BTU/h cooling capacity in a compact black monobloc design. Equipped with R290 refrigerant and an energy efficiency ratio (EER) of 2.6, it provides cooling, fan and dehumidifying functions with hourly energy consumption of approximately 1.4 kWh. The unit is intended for temporary or seasonal cooling of single rooms, apartments and small offices where a portable solution is preferred.
The SENCOR SAC MT1241C combines a moderate cooling capacity with a portable form factor and R290 refrigerant, which is known for its favorable thermodynamic properties. Its EER of 2.6 and hourly consumption of 1.4 kWh make it suitable for intermittent use without complex installation. The unit integrates cooling, fan and dehumidifying modes in one device and comes in a neutral black finish that fits many interiors.
This portable air conditioner is not intended as a primary cooling solution for large open-plan areas or buildings with high heat loads; its 12,000 BTU/h rating is optimized for single rooms or small zones. It requires venting of exhaust air through a window or an opening, so locations without a suitable exhaust path or where permanent installation is required may not be appropriate.
Place the unit on a stable, level surface near a window or suitable exhaust opening. Connect the exhaust hose to the rear outlet and route it to the window using the supplied window kit or an equivalent sealing solution to ensure efficient expulsion of hot air. Select the required mode (cooling, fan or dehumidifying) and adjust fan speed or automatic settings according to comfort needs. Regularly empty or maintain any condensate collection system if applicable and follow the user manual for filter cleaning and periodic maintenance.
For efficient operation, close doors and windows in the cooled area, position the exhaust hose with minimal bends, and use the dehumidifying mode when indoor humidity is high. Clean or inspect filters regularly and follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule to preserve performance and energy efficiency.
