The SENCOR SFD7000BK food dehydrator offers an expanded drying area of approximately 1.11 m², about 60% larger than conventional 32 cm diameter dryers, and is intended for dehydrating fruits, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, seeds, meat and fish. It features stainless steel trays, a temperature range of 35–75 °C, an electronic timer and a transparent door for visual monitoring, with compact countertop dimensions and a built-in fan for uniform airflow.

Advantages

Horizontal Air Flow technology ensures even heat distribution across all trays so there is no need to rotate trays during drying. Stainless steel trays (up to 10 compatible) provide hygienic surfaces and one dedicated tray is suitable for preparing raw products. The device includes a diode backlight display, a rotary temperature control for intuitive operation, and a thermal overheat fuse for safety. Mesh tray design reduces the risk of mold and optimizes air circulation.

How to use

Arrange sliced or prepared ingredients evenly on the stainless steel mesh trays without overlapping to promote airflow. Set the desired temperature using the rotary control (35–75 °C) according to the product being dried and select the timer in ten-minute intervals or use the quick setup mode. Monitor progress through the transparent door and use the diode display for status information. When drying raw products, use the dedicated tray reserved for that purpose. The device will shut off automatically when the electronic timer reaches the set time.

Usage recommendations

For best results, cut items into uniform pieces, pre-treat according to product type (blanching or sulfuring for some fruits if desired), and avoid overloading trays to ensure even drying. Allow dried products to cool before storing in airtight containers.
