The SENCOR SWS8000 weather station features a 5.7" colour LCD and one wireless thermo‑hygro sensor, offering continuous monitoring of indoor and outdoor conditions. The unit displays temperature and humidity, barometric pressure, a 12–24 hour forecast with simple weather icons, a pressure trend graph, comfort index and moon phase. Time and date are kept by a radio‑controlled clock with DST support; manual setting is also possible. The main unit can be placed on a desk or mounted to a wall and is powered by the supplied mains adapter with a backup battery included. The outdoor sensor transmits measurements wirelessly and the system supports up to eight thermo‑hygro sensors for expanded coverage.

How to use

Place the main unit in a visible indoor location and plug in the supplied DC 5 V adapter. Insert the backup CR‑2032 battery into the main unit to preserve settings during power interruptions. Install two AA batteries into the wireless thermo‑hygro sensor (use non‑rechargeable lithium AA batteries for longer life), then position the sensor outdoors or in the desired monitoring spot within the sensor’s transmission range. The main unit will automatically receive sensor data; use the menu to set time mode, pressure units, display brightness and alert thresholds.
