Internal Molex Splitter Cable Sharkoon 1x Molex to 2x Molex 4044951018925
The Sharkoon internal Molex splitter cable converts a single 4-pin Molex power connector into two 4-pin Molex connectors, providing a simple way to expand internal power connections inside a PC. This passive splitter is intended for distributing standard peripheral power to devices such as case fans, older optical or hard drives, and accessories that use the common 4-pin Molex interface. The cable is designed for plug-and-play installation with standard Molex power pins and requires no additional configuration or drivers.
The cable offers a compact and low-cost solution to increase the number of available Molex power outlets without modifying the power supply. As a passive adapter it maintains the same voltage lines across both outputs and preserves the standard Molex pinout for compatibility with a wide range of legacy and current peripherals. Its straightforward construction minimizes points of failure and simplifies cable routing inside the chassis.
Connect the single Molex plug of the splitter to an available Molex power output from the power supply unit. Then plug the two female Molex connectors into the devices you wish to power. Ensure that the combined current draw of connected devices does not exceed the power supply rail capacity and that connectors are fully seated. Route the cable to avoid interference with fans or moving parts and secure it with existing cable ties or fastening points in the case.
Use the splitter for low- to moderate-current peripherals such as fans and older drives. Avoid overloading a single PSU rail by checking the power requirements of connected devices; if multiple high-current devices are required, prefer dedicated PSU connectors or a higher-capacity power supply.
