Keystone Module ShiverPeaks BS08-10040
The ShiverPeaks BS08-10040 is a flat keystone module finished in black and equipped with USB C female connectors on both sides. Designed for keystone wall plates, patch panels and surface-mount enclosures, this module provides a compact, low-profile solution for integrating USB-C connections into structured cabling installations in homes, offices and commercial environments.
This flat keystone module combines a standardized keystone housing with USB C female ports to offer a tidy, flush-mounted USB-C connection point. Its black colour helps it blend with many wall plates and panels, while the USB-C interface supports modern reversible connector convenience for user devices. The module is intended for straightforward snap-in installation into keystone openings, enabling a neat finish and easy replacement or reconfiguration of connectors without altering wall wiring or furniture panels.
This keystone module provides a passive USB-C female interface only; it does not include active electronics such as data adapters, power delivery controllers or signal conversion circuitry. It is therefore not suitable where active signal conditioning, protocol conversion or higher power negotiation beyond what a passive USB-C connector can support is required. Also, compatibility depends on the keystone opening dimensions of the target plate or panel.
To install, align the module with a compatible keystone opening in a wall plate, patch panel or surface-mount box and press until the retaining tabs engage. Connect USB-C cables or devices to the front and rear USB-C female ports as required. For removal, depress the retaining tabs and pull the module out of the opening. Ensure cables and connectors are fully seated and that the faceplate or panel is secured to prevent strain on the connections.
