USB-C to RJ45 Ethernet Adapter Cable ShiverPeaks BS14-51155, 1 Gbps, USB Type-C to 8P8C, Aluminum Housing, 1.5 m, Black
The ShiverPeaks BS14-51155 USB-C to RJ45 Ethernet adapter cable provides a straightforward wired network connection for devices with a USB Type-C port. Designed for single-cable use, it combines a USB-C plug and a standard 8P8C (RJ45) connector in a compact aluminum housing. With support for 1 Gbps Ethernet and a 1.5 m cable length, this adapter is intended to deliver stable LAN access for laptops, tablets and other compatible devices in home and office environments.
The adapter offers reliable gigabit-speed wired connectivity where Wi-Fi signal is unreliable or unavailable. Its aluminum housing adds mechanical durability and heat dissipation while the integrated cable design reduces adapter clutter. The 1.5 m length balances reach and portability, allowing convenient placement without excess cable on a desk.
This adapter provides a single wired Ethernet interface and does not add additional USB or power delivery ports. It is not a multiport docking solution. Devices without a compatible USB-C data-capable port (for example, USB-C ports that support power only) may not be able to use the adapter. For network speeds above 1 Gbps or for structured cabling requirements, a higher-speed or enterprise-grade solution would be required.
Plug the USB-C end into a compatible device’s USB-C data port and connect the RJ45 connector to a network switch, router or wall Ethernet outlet. The adapter is generally plug-and-play with modern operating systems; allow the host device a few moments to detect and configure the network interface. If required, install or update drivers provided by the device manufacturer or operating system updates to ensure full functionality.
Use the adapter for stable wired connections during video conferences, large file transfers or when Wi‑Fi is congested. Keep connectors clean and avoid sharp kinks in the cable; store the adapter coiled loosely when not in use to preserve the cable and connector integrity.
