Access controller Siedle DCA 650-02

The Siedle DCA 650-02 is an access controller in a switch-panel housing that interfaces Siedle In-Home bus door stations with the public telephone network. It supports 1 to 31 call destinations and provides DTMF-based control for up to six functions. The unit includes a two-line alphanumeric display (16 characters per line) and six buttons for configuration. The device offers the same basic functions as a system telephone and accepts a variety of call types including direct, selective, group and collective calls, PBX extensions, public network and mobile calls. The compact black housing measures 107 mm × 60 mm × 89 mm and has a rated power consumption of 100 mA.

Advantages

The DCA 650-02 enables selective dialing of up to three door loudspeakers without additional wiring and can recall the last-called door. It supports chain calling when a destination is busy or unanswered and provides system functions such as door release and light control via DTMF. How to use

Mount the unit into the designated switch-panel opening and connect it to the Siedle In-Home bus and the public network according to the installation instructions. Configure destinations and functions using the six buttons and the two-line display; assign dial strings (up to 22 digits each) for direct, selective, group or chain calls and program DTMF codes for door release and light control. Set PIN protection where required and adjust call/connection time parameters as needed.

Usage recommendations

Use the DCA 650-02 in combination with existing Siedle components and, if needed, a PBX to ensure proper call routing. For time-controlled functions such as Doormatic, call rerouting or day/night service, integrate the unit with the DCSF 600-… accessory or the customer’s time switches.
