Speaker module Siedle BTLM 650-04 SM
The Siedle BTLM 650-04 SM speaker module is a bus door communication unit designed for use with the Siedle In-Home bus and 611 Vario design. It features a weather- and UV-resistant polycarbonate front louvre, a tropicalized loudspeaker, a long-life electret microphone and an integrated volume control for the loudspeaker. The module includes an illuminated low-current call button, integrated video control and a working contact for the door release (DR) that can be controlled via the bus line without additional wiring. The unit provides acoustic feedback when a call button on BTM 650-01 to -04 is pressed.
The speaker module offers compact dimensions (99 x 99 x 35 mm) and IP54 protection for outdoor installation. It supports a DR contact rated for 15 V AC and 30 V DC at 2 A with a 3-second switching time, and operates in ambient temperatures from -20 °C to +55 °C. The tropicalized loudspeaker and long-life electret microphone ensure reliable audio performance in varying conditions, while the illuminated low-current button improves visibility in low light.
Install the BTLM 650-04 SM as part of a Siedle In-Home bus system following Siedle installation guidelines. Connect the module to the bus line for audio, call button signaling and DR control; no additional wiring is required for the door release contact when used via the bus. Adjust the loudspeaker volume using the integrated volume controller. Ensure the module is mounted in a location compatible with its IP54 rating and within the specified ambient temperature range.
For reliable long-term operation, mount the module where it is protected from direct water jets and extreme mechanical impact, perform regular visual inspections, and follow Siedle’s system maintenance instructions.
