Heating Nozzle SiGMA-Li NG20, 20 mm Diameter
SiGMA-Li NG20 is a 20 mm heating nozzle designed for controlled plastic fusion when joining thermoplastic pipes and fittings. Built for compatibility with SiGMA-Li heating tools, the NG20 nozzle concentrates heat on a defined surface area to enable consistent melting of PPR, PE and similar polymer materials. The nozzle’s 20 mm diameter provides an even contact zone suited to medium-diameter pipework commonly used in plumbing and heating installations.
The nozzle offers precise, stable heat transfer to reduce uneven melting and ensure reliable welds. Its 20 mm contact diameter supports repeatable joint quality across multiple fusion operations. Designed to fit SiGMA-Li heaters, the NG20 nozzle enables quick attachment and secure positioning during work. The construction provides an even heating profile and helps maintain proper alignment between pipe and fitting throughout the fusion cycle.
Attach the NG20 nozzle to a compatible SiGMA-Li heating tool according to the heater manufacturer’s instructions. Allow the nozzle to reach operating temperature before contacting pipe or fitting surfaces. Position the heated nozzle against the pipe and fitting to achieve uniform softening of the thermoplastic. Remove the nozzle when the required melt profile is achieved, then align and press the components together until the joint cools and solidifies. Follow safety and operating guidelines of the heating tool during the entire process.
Use the NG20 nozzle primarily for pipes and fittings that match its 20 mm contact diameter; select a different nozzle size for significantly larger or smaller pipe diameters. Ensure the heating tool and nozzle are clean and undamaged before each use, and work in a well-ventilated area while following personal protective equipment recommendations from the heater manufacturer.
