Cutting Disc for Metal Silver 125 x 1.6 x 22.2 mm (MPN 10112)
Cutting Disc for Metal Silver 125 x 1.6 x 22.2 mm (MPN 10112)
Silver cutting disc for metal, size 125 x 1.6 x 22.2 mm. This abrasive disc is designed for use with angle grinders to perform abrasive cutting of steel and other ferrous metals. With a thin 1.6 mm cutting thickness it provides fast, precise cuts while minimising material loss and reducing the required feed force. The 125 mm diameter and 22.2 mm centre hole make it suitable for compact grinders and common mounting systems used in fabrication, repair and installation tasks.
The disc’s 1.6 mm thickness enables narrow kerf cutting for improved accuracy and lower scrap. Abrasive formulation and construction are optimised for metal cutting, offering reliable cutting speed and consistent edge quality. A standard 22.2 mm bore fits most handheld angle grinders, and the 125 mm diameter provides a balance between cutting reach and manoeuvrability in confined spaces. The product is intended for use on ferrous materials and is suitable for repeated, short to medium duration cutting operations.
Mount the cutting disc on a compatible angle grinder with the correct flanges and secure it according to the grinder manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure wheel guards are fitted and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, gloves and suitable clothing. Use steady, consistent feed pressure without forcing the disc; allow the abrasive to do the cutting. Keep the grinder at a controlled angle to the workpiece and avoid side pressure on the cutting edge. After cutting, allow the disc to stop completely before setting the tool down.
Use the disc only for its intended purpose of cutting ferrous metals. Do not use for grinding or on non-metal materials. Observe the maximum operating speed of the angle grinder and avoid exceeding the disc’s rated RPM. Replace the disc if any cracks, severe wear or other damage is observed. Store discs flat in a dry environment away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
