Set of 6 Silver open-end combination wrenches, model 10984

Silver set of 6 open-end combination wrenches, model 10984, contains six commonly used metric sizes in a single kit for general mechanical and maintenance tasks. Each wrench combines an open-end on one side with a boxed or combination end on the other, providing access to fasteners in tight spaces and the ability to apply greater torque where needed. The set is intended for automotive repair, household DIY and workshop use where a compact range of wrenches is required.

Advantages

The dual-head design of each tool delivers both quick engagement with the open-end and secure gripping with the boxed end, reducing slippage and rounding of fasteners. The set format keeps six frequently used sizes together for convenient selection and transport. Made for routine mechanical work, the wrenches offer straightforward functionality and compatibility with common nut and bolt sizes encountered in vehicles, appliances and furniture assembly.

Suitable for

• Automotive maintenance and repairs
• Household DIY and furniture assembly
• General workshop and light industrial tasks
• Plumbing and small mechanical adjustments

Key specifications

• Set composition: six combination wrenches with open-end and boxed/combination end
• Finish: silver surface treatment for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning
• Configuration: open-end on one side, boxed/combination end on the other
• Intended use: tightening and loosening hex nuts and bolts
• Scope: compact set covering a range of commonly used sizes for general repairs

How to use

Select the wrench size that fits the nut or bolt squarely to avoid rounding. Use the open-end to quickly engage fasteners in confined spaces and the boxed/combination end to apply higher torque or to fully tighten and loosen fasteners. Position the wrench correctly on the fastener, apply steady force, and avoid sudden impacts. Keep the set together in a toolbox or pouch to maintain organization and protect the tool finishes.

Usage recommendations

Inspect fasteners and the wrench before use; do not use excessively worn or damaged wrenches. For high-torque or rusted fasteners, consider using penetrating lubricant and the boxed end to reduce the risk of rounding. Store the set dry to minimize corrosion and periodically clean and lightly oil the tools if used in humid environments.
