The Energizer CR2430 is a single-use lithium coin cell battery with a nominal voltage of 3 V, a height of 3 mm and a diameter of 24.5 mm. Supplied in a blister pack containing two batteries, this compact and lightweight power source (approximately 4.6 g per cell) is designed for low- to moderate-drain electronics that require stable voltage over long shelf life. The flat coin format and standardized CR2430 size ensure compatibility with many watches, calculators, key fobs, small medical devices, remote controls and other portable electronics.
The battery uses lithium chemistry that provides a high energy density, long shelf life and consistent 3 V output until near end of service. Insert the CR2430 battery into the device following the polarity markings on the battery holder: the flat positive (+) side typically faces outward. Ensure the device is turned off or disconnected from power before replacing the battery. Press the cell gently into the holder until it sits securely; avoid bending contacts or using excessive force. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations for lithium cells and recycling programs.
Store unused batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and metal objects. Do not recharge, short-circuit, heat above recommended temperatures or expose to fire. Replace batteries in pairs when a device requires multiple cells, and verify device compatibility with the CR2430 size and 3 V rating before installation.
