Sirui KS-40 is an aluminium ball head in a black finish designed to provide compact, stable camera support. With a height of 90 mm and a weight of 500 g, the KS-40 combines low center-of-gravity design and precision mechanics to allow smooth ball movement, secure locking and reliable payload support for photographic and videographic setups. The head features an Arca-compatible quick release plate and a 360° panning Arca-Swiss plate for flexible horizontal adjustment, plus a dual-lock safety system and an included magnetic Allen key for convenient adjustments.

Advantages

The KS-40 uses a low-gravity design that lowers the center of gravity to reduce vibration and improve stability during long exposures and low-light shooting. Friction adjustment and a rotating knob that "hugs" the ball deliver consistent locking force and allow fine tuning to match the weight of different camera setups. A quick release flip lock with a safety bolt enables one-handed mounting while preventing accidental release. How to use

Attach the KS-40 to your tripod or monopod using the 3/8-16" base interface and secure it hand-tight. Fit the included Arca-compatible quick release plate to your camera’s tripod socket and clamp it into the flip lock; use the safety bolt to add secondary security. Adjust the friction control to match your camera and lens weight so the ball moves smoothly without slipping. Use the main ball lock to fix camera position and the panning base to make controlled horizontal rotations when needed. The magnetic Allen key stored on the head allows tightening or fine adjustment of the flip lock and other fasteners.

Usage recommendations
