Action camera SJCam SJ4000 (returned) — waterproof to 30 m, 12 MP, 170° wide angle, 1080p, 2.0" LCD, blue
Returned SJCam SJ4000 is a compact action camera designed for wide-angle outdoor and underwater recording. It features a 12 MP sensor, a 170° A+ HD wide-angle lens and Full HD 1080p video recording. A 2.0" LCD (stated 1.5"/2.0" in specs) provides framing and playback, and the camera is supplied with a waterproof housing rated to 30 m for diving and water sports. The camera supports multiple photo and video modes, removable battery operation and compatibility with common mounts and accessories, making it suitable for cycling, skiing, driving and general adventure use.
The SJCam SJ4000 combines a high-angle 170° lens with a 12 MP still capability and H.264 Full HD video capture to deliver broad, detailed footage. The included waterproof case enables underwater use to 30 meters, while the removable 900 mAh battery and microSD storage (up to 32 GB) allow extended recording sessions. Built-in modes such as time-lapse, self-timer and configurable video resolutions plus HDMI/AV output and webcam functionality increase its versatility for action, automotive and everyday recording tasks.
Insert a compatible microSD card (up to 32 GB, Class 4+) and charge the removable 900 mAh battery fully before first use. Mount the camera to the chosen accessory (helmet, bike, bracket) using the supplied mounts and adapters; ensure the waterproof housing is correctly sealed before any underwater use. Power the camera on, select the desired shooting mode (video resolution, photo mode or time-lapse) using the on-screen menu, frame the shot on the LCD and start recording. For vehicle use, install in a stable position and use car mode if available. After recording, connect the camera to a computer via USB or remove the microSD card for file transfer. Replace the battery as needed to extend usage time.
Use microSD cards of Class 4 or higher for reliable recording; format new cards in the camera before use. Rinse the waterproof case with fresh water after saltwater use and check seals for debris before submersion. Keep spare charged batteries on hand for longer sessions and avoid exposing the camera or housing to strong impacts or direct heat.
