Charger SKYRC SkyRC e3S for 2S/3S LiPo batteries
The SKYRC SkyRC e3S for 2S/3S LiPo batteries is a compact mains-powered charger engineered for safe, straightforward charging of 2-cell and 3-cell lithium battery packs used in RC models, drones and hobby electronics. The unit supports LiPo, LiHV and LiFe chemistries and combines automatic charge control with an integrated balancer and a dedicated Storage mode to keep battery packs at appropriate voltages for short-term use or long-term storage.
The e3S offers a simple single-button interface and automatic start on connection, removing the need for manual parameter setup while ensuring correct charging current and voltage for 2S and 3S packs. A built-in cell balancer evens cell voltages during charge, and a Storage mode for LiPo/LiHV helps reduce cell wear during periods of inactivity. The charger’s compact housing with ventilation and universal AC input makes it suitable for use at home or in a workshop without occupying much space.
Connect the charger to an AC mains supply, select the required battery chemistry with the single control button if needed, and attach the battery pack following the correct polarity. The e3S will automatically start the charge cycle and manage current and balance functions appropriate to 2S or 3S packs. Use Storage mode to bring LiPo/LiHV packs to storage voltage when the battery will not be used for an extended period. Always monitor the charger and battery during initial use to confirm correct connections and operation.
Use the charger on a non-flammable, ventilated surface and avoid charging unattended for long periods. Ensure connectors and balance leads are free of damage and always follow the battery manufacturer’s guidelines for maximum charge current and cell care. Allow the charger to operate within the specified temperature and humidity ranges to maintain stable performance.
