Battery Charger SkyRC SK-100161
SkyRC SK-100161 (iMax B6 V2) is a compact, microprocessor-controlled battery charger and DC/DC converter designed for RC hobbyists and general battery maintenance. It supports most mainstream battery chemistries including LiPo, Li-Ion, LiHV, LiFe, NiMH, NiCd and Pb, offers a DC input range of 5–26 V and delivers up to 60 W power with maximum charge current up to 6 A. The unit also provides dedicated support for DJI Mavic/Inspire batteries with up to 4 A charge current and includes safety features such as thermal cutoff when used with an optional temperature sensor.
The SkyRC SK-100161 combines charging, discharging and DC/DC conversion in a single compact device, providing up to 60 W output from a wide 5–26 V DC input. Its ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller improves processing speed and anti-interference capability. The charger displays battery icon and real-time charge/discharge percentage for intuitive monitoring, includes AGM and cold-charge modes for lead-acid batteries, and delivers higher charge power (about 20% more) compared with the previous B6 model.
Connect the charger to a suitable 5–26 V DC power source and attach the battery following the correct polarity and connector type. Select the appropriate battery chemistry and charging profile on the charger, set the desired charge current (max 6 A, or 4 A for supported DJI batteries), and start the charge cycle. For lead-acid batteries or low-temperature charging, choose the AGM or Cold Charge mode. To enable thermal cutoff protection, attach the optional temperature sensor to the battery and plug it into the charger.
Always verify battery type, cell count and connector polarity before charging. Use a power supply that matches the charger's input range and ensure the optional temperature sensor (SK-600040-01) is used when you require thermal cutoff protection.
