Measuring 143.5×58.5×106 mm, it provides a protective frame around compatible bodies while maintaining access to controls, ports and battery compartments. The cage includes a cold shoe, multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting points and ARRI-style locating mounts to prevent accessory rotation. An integrated anti-twist solution uses an M2.5 screw working with the 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw to secure the camera inside the cage, and a built-in screwdriver stored in the cage base allows for on-set tightening of camera screws.

Usage recommendations

For stable handheld operation, attach a top or side handle and use the ARRI-style mounts for accessories that require fixed orientation. When routing HDMI or other cables, use the SmallRig Cable Clamp to relieve strain on ports.
