SmallRig 6084 ND16 Camera Lens Filter for DJI Osmo Action 6

Enhance your action footage with the SmallRig 6084 ND16 neutral density filter designed specifically for the DJI Osmo Action 6 camera. This accessory reduces light entering the lens by 4 stops, allowing you to use slower shutter speeds and wider apertures in bright daylight for cinematic motion blur and balanced exposure. Ideal for outdoor sports, vlogging, and adventure videography.

Advantages

The SmallRig 6084 ND16 Camera Lens Filter for DJI Osmo Action 6 provides precise light reduction to help manage bright outdoor lighting conditions effectively. By reducing the light intake by 4 stops, it enables creators to maintain optimal shutter speeds for smooth motion blur in high-motion scenes. Built for durability and seamless integration, it attaches easily to the compatible action camera lens without interfering with its core functionality. It is an essential tool for achieving professional visual quality and balanced exposure during sunny outdoor shoots.

Suitable for

• Outdoor sports and action videography in bright daylight
• Vlogging and travel recording under intense sun
• Creating cinematic motion blur with slower shutter speeds
• Achieving balanced exposure in high-contrast environments

When it may not be suitable

This neutral density filter is not ideal for low-light conditions, indoor filming, or nighttime use, as it intentionally reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 4 stops. Using it in dark environments will result in underexposed footage and unnecessary loss of light.

• Application: Camera lens filtering

How to use

Ensure the camera lens is completely clean and free of dust or fingerprints before mounting the accessory. Align the SmallRig 6084 ND16 filter carefully with the DJI Osmo Action 6 lens mount and secure it firmly in place according to the camera's attachment mechanism. What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your camera model is the DJI Osmo Action 6 to ensure proper physical compatibility
• Assess your typical shooting environments to confirm whether an ND16 filter with 4 stops of light reduction meets your lighting needs
• Check if you require other density levels for different lighting conditions

Usage recommendations

For the best results, always attach the filter before beginning your recording session in bright daylight and store it in a protective case when not in use to prevent scratches.
