The Sonnet G2A5E-1X-E Solo2.5G PCIe Card is an internal network interface card that adds an RJ45 port to computers with PCIe slots, providing multi-gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Using NBASE-T technology, it enables 2.5 Gb/s link speeds over existing Cat 5e or better cabling when paired with a compatible 2.5GbE or NBASE-T-capable 10GbE switch. The card also supports 1 Gb/s and 100 Mb/s links for compatibility with legacy switches and networks.
