Rittal 19-inch Cable Management Panel 1U
The Rittal 19-inch cable management panel, 1U, is a professional-grade solution engineered for the systematic organization and routing of patch cables within standard server racks and network enclosures. By providing a dedicated horizontal pathway for cabling, this panel effectively reduces clutter, prevents cable strain, and promotes optimal airflow, which is essential for maintaining the performance and longevity of sensitive IT equipment in data centers and server rooms.
This cable management panel offers a robust construction using high-quality sheet steel for the main frame, ensuring durability and long-term stability in demanding rack environments. The inclusion of five integrated polyamide cable retainer rings allows for precise and secure cable routing, making it easier to manage complex patch cable configurations. Its standard 19-inch design ensures seamless compatibility with most server cabinets, while the light grey RAL 7035 finish provides a clean, professional aesthetic that integrates well with standard infrastructure hardware.
This panel is specifically designed for horizontal cable management and may not be suitable for vertical cable routing requirements. It is intended for use with standard 19-inch rack systems and cannot be installed in non-standard enclosures or open-frame racks that do not support 1U mounting dimensions.
Installation is straightforward and requires mounting the panel into the front 19-inch rails of your server cabinet using standard rack screws. Once secured, route your patch cables horizontally across the panel, threading them through the five integrated retainer rings to keep them organized and away from active equipment ports. Ensure that cables are not pulled too tightly to maintain proper bend radii and to facilitate easy future maintenance or reconfiguration.
For optimal results, group cables by function or destination before routing them through the retainer rings. Avoid overfilling individual rings to ensure that cables can be easily added or removed during maintenance without disturbing the rest of the cabling infrastructure.
