Expansion anchor Fischer 568004

The Fischer 568004 expansion anchor is a nylon screw anchor designed for fastening in a variety of base materials, including autoclaved aerated concrete, brick, concrete, gypsum fibre board and general masonry. This pack contains 200 anchors with a nominal diameter of 4 mm and an overall length of 20 mm. How to use

Drill a hole with a 4 mm drill bit to the required depth, clean the hole of dust, then insert the nylon anchor until its pronounced edge sits flush with the surface. Use suitable screws (wood, chipboard or stud screws) of appropriate length — measured as anchor length plus fixture thickness plus the screw diameter — and drive the screw into the anchor. During insertion the fixing wings will hold the screw in place; as the screw is tightened the anchor expands in multiple directions and locks into the base material. Do not exceed recommended screw sizes and avoid excessive torque once the anchor provides firm resistance.

Choose screw diameter and length according to fixture thickness and the anchor length.
